Mr. Phusit Sasitaranondha, Managing Director of Expolink Global Network Ltd., who represents Koelnmesse Thailand’s said, the fair’s goals are to promote and enable Thailand to become a hub for high-quality baby and toddler business as well as trade negotiations on products for children and mothers in the Southeast Asia-Indochina region. The exhibition will feature a variety of activities, including workshop, seminars, academic conferences and business matching to provide great benefits to the attendees. The event, which is anticipated to draw more than 3,000 exhibitors across Thailand and the ASEAN, will also feature the “King + Jugend ASEAN 2023 Innovation Award”, for which the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) serves as a committee.
Together with executives from the BMA, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor, will attend the opening ceremony on Wednesday, 5 April 2022 and give the keynote address on “The Development of Children and the Future of Bangkok”. Among the prospect attendees, Dr. Tavida Kamolvej, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, will also join a conference titled: “Golden Opportunities for Childhood Development and Capacity Building of Pre-school Child Centers”.
During the event, child products will go under the hammer to raise funds for 275 preschool child development centers under the BMA’s Department of Social Development in need. The childcare volunteers will get the chance to learn more about the role-model childcare facilities and will be able to bring pre-school children to take part in a variety of activities at the event, such as the free health check-up provided by Bangkok’s hospitals. On Saturday, 8 April 2023, there will also be a drawing competition with a theme of “Bangkok, the City of My Dream” and a contest on health & wellness of the children.
The business sector, schools, hospitals, parents, and child caregivers will greatly benefit from the seminars that will be held on more than ten different topics, including business opportunities, business design for sustainability, different types of childcare centers, and knowledge of child care psychology, said Mr. Phusit.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to view a variety of products for mothers and children from a variety of industries, including toys for child development, nutrition for children, hygiene products for mothers and children, baby strollers, baby cars, children’s furniture, and technologies for childcare.
